Ashtanga / Iyengar Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is a vigorous form of yoga that connects poses in a flowing sequence. It is often called power / flow yoga. This yoga is ideal for athletes and advanced to intermediate students. This class provides an excellent workout and does require some endurance.
Iyengar Yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar who systematized over 200 classical yoga postures. Iyengar yoga emphasizes precision, alignment, and breath. Props may be used to supplement / aid in poses in class.
Iyengar yoga is ideal for beginners as well as intermediate to advanced students.
